Pim and Iza first met on Boxing Day in 2019, after having talked online for several months. Their first date was far from flawless: Iza tried to avoid running into people she knew, and Pim accidentally gave a pole a high-five with his mother's car. Still, they continued seeing each other, and after six dates Pim finally managed to get Iza's phone number.
After that, things moved quickly, helped along by the pandemic. In 2021 they moved in together in Ede, where they settled into their cozy apartment and still live today. In 2022 they adopted their housemate and first "child," Fiddlesticks. She was originally meant to keep Pim company while Iza was at work, but has since become the unquestioned ruler of the household. With Pim handling the cooking and Iza the cleaning, they soon felt like a real little family.
In July 2024, Pim took the next step. After receiving Iza's parents' blessing, he took her to the iconic cliffside castle on the island of L'Île d'Yeu, where he proposed at sunset. Now, a year later, they are fully immersed in planning their wedding!

We're going with a Garden Formal dress code. You can look here for inspiration. Iza's only strict request: no visible men's toes.
Yes, everyone is welcome for the full wedding. If you prefer to leave earlier or arrive later, that's completely fine.
That will remain a surprise for now. When filling out the RSVP, you can indicate any allergies or foods you really dislike. We'll do our best to take that into account.
The entire wedding takes place at the same venue, so no transportation is needed.
When completing your RSVP, you'll see whether you may bring a +1. Since we want to keep the wedding intimate, this won't apply to everyone. If you cannot bring a +1, rest assured—you'll definitely know at least one other person there.
